This ironing blanket is suitable for ironing on all smooth surfaces, which are not sensitive to heat or steam The 60 x 90 cm blanket can be used either way up. The white side has a grid for ironing open seams and the silver-coloured side has a heat-reflecting surface for ironing at high temperatures. This makes it just as useful for ironing large laundry items as for delicate measuring tasks in reinforcing cuffs and pockets.

Iron shoe
For ironing printed fabrics and textiles, which are sensitive to heat, even at the lowest setting, the Prym range offers the iron shoe in white silicon. It mitigates the heat, preventing the fabric from developing a surface gloss and other undesirable side effects of too great a heat. The film has many holes, which are sufficient to allow the steam to escape. A sturdy steel spring secures the shoe to the iron.
Finger guards, silicon
For ironing tasks, such as ironing out of seams, hems and edges, the iron must frequently follow the fingers. In order to prevent unpleasant burns, Prym stocks three finger guards made of plum-coloured silicon. They are simply placed on the index, middle and ring fingers and their fine burled surface offers sufficient grip for working with even fine fabrics.

Ironing cloth
The thin, white pressing cloth in coarsely woven cotton protects delicate and printed fabrics from developing an undesired glossy surface because of too high a heat setting on the iron. Since the cloth is transparent when wet, it is ideal for accurate ironing and steam-ironing. During steam-ironing the cotton absorbs the moisture and releases it again underneath. The cloth is 45 x 50 cm in size. This allows even relatively large surfaces to be gently smoothed.
Mini iron case

Iron cleaner
The iron cleaner and descaler is a special cleaning pen for the care of the sole plate of every iron. It cleans and descales all easy-glide sole plates and also increases the irons capacity to glide smoothly. The cleaner is applied to the sole plate with the iron at Setting 2; this liquefies the cleaner. A suitable cloth can then be used to remove dirt and calcium. To clean the steam nozzles, stand the iron in the vertical position and use the steam function for a short period, then wipe. After this treatment the iron once more glides with perfect ease over the fabric. The card contains one iron cleaner pen with 20 g of iron cleaner and instructions.
