The handy Mini steam iron is ideal for mastering particularly delicate work with interfacing, or ironing thin seams. It is a useful travel companion for ironing or steaming creased garments. It sits lightly and comfortably in the hand and its specially shaped handle makes it easy to transfer effective pressure. It can be switched from 200 V to 110 V and there are steam irons with UK plugs for Great Britain. The pack also contains a measuring cup for filling the water reservoir and a carrying bag.

Iron shoe
For ironing printed fabrics and textiles, which are sensitive to heat, even at the lowest setting, the Prym range offers the iron shoe in white silicon. It mitigates the heat, preventing the fabric from developing a surface gloss and other undesirable side effects of too great a heat. The film has many holes, which are sufficient to allow the steam to escape. A sturdy steel spring secures the shoe to the iron.
Finger guards, silicon
For ironing tasks, such as ironing out of seams, hems and edges, the iron must frequently follow the fingers. In order to prevent unpleasant burns, Prym stocks three finger guards made of plum-coloured silicon. They are simply placed on the index, middle and ring fingers and their fine burled surface offers sufficient grip for working with even fine fabrics.
Tailor's ham
The tailor's ham from Prym is a practical aid, which no sewing and craft work fan should be without. Folds in fabric in necklines, waist bands, cuffs, darts or curving seams can quite simply be ironed out. Side seams and seam allowances no longer push through. Doubly useful: The cotton side is suitable for smooth fabrics and higher temperature settings, the checked wool side for lower temperatures and more voluminous materials.
