It can help determine pin gauges, count stitches and rows, and convert the desired amount of stitches and rows for any desired clothing size and yarn thickness. First, the amount of stitches and rows per 10 cm is calculated using the counting frame. Then the knitting calculator's slider can be set to the calculated value on a scale of 8 to 49 stitches per 10 cm. A viewing window directly shows the stitch and row count for lengths 1 cm to 100 cm.

For those that knit a lot and knit often, Prym offers the knitters’ kit with the most important knitting utensils that are needed for creative work with wool. The knitters’ kit contains two auxiliary needles that are 2.5 mm and 4 mm thick, two wool needles in gauges 1 and 3, a rotally, and a stitch holder. The auxiliary needles and stitch holder are made of grey-coated aluminium, the wool needles are made of steel, and the rotally is made of plastic. You will be perfectly-equipped for most knitting challenges with this set.
Point protectors for 2.00 and 2.50mm
In line with the topic of knitting, Prym offers point protectors, made of grey and plum-blue plastic and featuring a glove and cap design, in two different sizes. The blue set contains pin gauges 2 mm to 2.5 mm and the grey set contains the 3 mm to 3.5 mm gauges. Furthermore, the "cap” and "glove” point protectors can prevent the stitch from slipping during transport, serving as a stitch stopper as well. A further advantage: With the point protector, all five needles of a set of knitting pins can be stored together.

Ball of wool holder
Simply practical: Whether you knit or crochet, this wool holder guarantees the smooth unwinding of your ball of wool. This is ensured by the round slot on the lid with its smooth edge. The ball of wool stays where it is put and no longer rolls away. The lower part is the well-known Prym blue, but the practical upper part has been left transparent, so that you can keep track at all times of the amount of wool left in the ball. Once the ball is used up, it is easy to unscrew the wool holder and insert a new ball. Made from sturdy plastic, it is impressively stable and easy to transport thanks to its braided cord.

Prym's wool bobbins ensure clear work while knitting complicated patterns or when storing leftover wool. Small quantities of wool can be comfortably and practically rolled up onto the optional six large or ten small bobbins made of stable plastic. This fully prevents the wool threads from becoming tangled and knotted, making this aid indispensable in neutral colours when knitting or crocheting. The top part of the bobbin contains a groove, in which the end of the wool thread can get wedged to secure the yarn.

Thanks to the eyelets on the top part of the thimbles, up to four wool threads can gently slide onto the knitting pin without knotting. Even complicated Norwegian patterns and all sorts of multi-coloured patterns can be perfectly and easily achieved. A lateral slit in the thimble provides a comfortable fit and firmness on both skinny and sturdy fingers. The latch over the eyelet can be opened very easily to change the colour order when knitting.
