Product information "Fray Check"

Fray stop is a colourless liquid that prevents stressed areas; such as button holes, seams, shirt collars, and cuffs; from fraying by reinforcing the fibres. When sewing the edges of curves, Fray Check can be applied to the edge of the curves, which are then conveniently cut before turning and without fraying. This sealing solution gives rolled seams a stable finish. It can even be use to provide a fray-free seal to the edges of self-cut fabric motifs. 22.5 ml of fray stop are included in the dosing bottle with the pipette-like opening. Only after multiple washes can the effect of the fibre-reinforcing liquid can lightly subside. This treatment can be repeated as often as desired.

Denim repair kit
Your favourite jeans have a hole? No problem, the Prym Jeans Repair Kit makes it easy to mend a pair of jeans. The repair kit contains 3 dark blue and 2 light blue patches – 4 coated for ironing on, 1 for sewing on. The set also includes sewing thread in blue and ochre as well as useful tools: Pincushion, pins, sewing needles and needle threader. If a sewing machine is available to repair the jeans, zigzag or overlock stitching is the way to go. And you can even repair a torn pair of jeans with an iron. The iron-on patches in the jeans repair kit are ideal for this. All you need is a standard iron and the patches can be ironed onto the jeans – whether they are torn at the knee or thigh. Sewing on increases the secure hold, especially in areas subject to heavy wear. Repairing old jeans is not only a lot of fun and creates new personal favourites, it also helps you live more sustainably. Instead of waste, the jeans repair kit results in a creative project that makes you happy and is great to show off.
Fusible bonding yarn Fusible bonding yarn
Fusible bonding yarn
This fusible bonding yarn is ideal for hemming with invisible seams and can be processed with both the overlock and sewing machine. The yarn goes into the lower gripper on overlock machines. First, the yarn's cutting edge is trimmed in a wide zigzag stitch using the thread. Afterwards, the hem is folded inwards and then firmly ironed from the outside. And, as easy as that, a perfect hem is created with an invisible seam. If a mistake should be made when ironing, the fusible bonding yarn can be loosened again once and ironed on again. The package contains 40 m of yarn and directions for use.
