Product information "Crewel needles, No. 5, 0.80 x 41mm"

Crewel needles made of hardened steel are especially suitable for fine embroidery and sewing. The needles have the typical tapered and slim tip shape of a hand sewing needle and have a relatively large eye, which makes threading generally easier to do by hand. The smooth and non-porous coated surface ensures that the needle slips easily through the fabric. The range of crewel needles includes size numbers 3 to 9 and thereby offers the right needle for every requirement when embroidering. Prym also has two sorted sets of special embroidery needles in size numbers 3-9 and 5-10. All packs contain 16 needles.

Self-threading needles, No. 5-9
These self-threading needles have a special open and flexible eye. They are relatively easy to thread, since you only need to slide the stretched thread through the opening in the upper eye which then holds the thread. As a result, even people with visual impairments have no problem threading. In addition to this special, burr-free eye, you will recognise the known quality parameters of a classic hand sewing needle, namely the even, non-porous surface for easy gliding, the attuned spring stiffness, and the long and exceptionally slim, polished tip shape. Prym offers the self-threading needles in assortment packs of 6 units each in sizes no. 5 to 9.
