This assortment consisting of six, stable hobbyist needles contains the right sewing tools for working on coarse fabric and solid materials. Recommendations
Weaving and packing needles
For weaving in and repairing woven fabrics, we recommend weaving needles. The specially polished, rounded tip of the weaving needle protects the fabric during both weaving and sewing. The long, sturdy needles with a large, burr-free eye are used for mending holes in woven fabrics (e.g. shirts, trousers), for weaving in loose threads and for repairing home textiles and robust fabrics (e.g. sewing jute, wool and coarse linen).
The large, long eye of this sturdy sewing needle makes it very easy to thread thick yarns. The flattened, curved spear-tip design also makes it possible to pierce thick, hard and taut fabrics with force. These special needles are therefore used for heavy-duty sewing of sacks and mats or other densely woven, sturdy fabrics.
Leather needles, No. 3, 0.90 x 43mm, silver-coloured
Leather needles have a triangular point and pierce leather effortlessly without tearing it. Our leather needles are sturdy specialist needles with a cutting point designed for leather and various types of imitation leather. They are suitable for repairs and sewing work on clothing (e.g. trousers and jackets), bags and rucksacks, shoes, as well as for making leather accessories.

Coarse stitch needles
This rope-stitch needle made of hardened steel is ideal for sewing coarsely-woven materials such as jute, wool, or linen. Their rounded tips can penetrate the material without damaging the fibres. The large needle eyelet allows you to work on strong yarns and wool. This needle can also be used for weaving with its 150 mm x 2.4 mm size. 25 pieces are included in the envelope packaging.
