The chalk sharpener is the perfect tool for sharpening dressmaker’s and magic chalk from Prym. On the upper side of the violet plastic chalk sharpener there are V-shaped plastic edges,on which the worn chalk slab is moved to and fro until it becomes sharp once more. As the chalk is sharpened, the dust from the chalk falls into the chalk sharpener's integral container. A slide on the underside allows the chalk sharpener to be opened and emptied.

Cartridge pencil set
The chalk cartridge set from Prym is suitable for tracing, writing and marking on almost all surfaces. It is ideal for hand crafts and hobbies, such as sewing, quilting, handicrafts and model building. The refillable cartridge holder can be used not only to make exact line marks, but also to make dotted markings. At the upper end of the cartridge holder there is a knob with an eraser cartridge; press the retaining mechanism on this to change the cartridge. The scope of delivery includes 8 white and 8 coloured cartridges, the chalk cartridge holder and a special sharpener for the chalk cartridges. The cartridge holder is supplied containing one white cartridge. The cartridges are economical in use and are supplied in protective packaging for transport.
Pattern films, with pencil
Like the dressmaking pattern paper, the fully transparent tracing sheets from Prym are ideal for creating cutting templates. First of all fix it to the pattern with a few strips of adhesive. Because of the transparent film it is child's play to transfer the pattern using the enclosed marking pen and it is easy to cut out. Another advantage when using patterned fabrics: because the film is transparent the pattern can be exactly positioned on the patterning of the fabric. The package contains three plastic tracing sheets, each 100 cm x 150 cm and a permanent marker.
Dressmaker's ruler
The dressmaker's ruler offers a cornucopia of functions for producing patterns and markings on fabrics used by hobby or professional dressmakers in the work space. Measurements, such as seam allowances, button-holes and pleats, which are needed again and again, can be marked as easily as child's-play with this multi-functional ruler. Armhole and sleeve head, waist-lines, collars and hip-lines - none of these are any problem with the dressmaker's ruler from Prym. Its convex outer edge makes it possible to link marked single dots harmoniously after one trying-on. This dressmaker's ruler can be used to transfer the shape of the waist and hips and the in-seam perfectly onto the dressmaking pattern paper or directly onto the fabric. The rounded edges on sleeves, necklines and shoulders can also be transferred flawlessly with the curved ruler. The straight grid on a scale of 2.5 x 40 cm allows for perfect transfer of button-holes and seams, while the rounded, narrowing 65 cm scale is ideal for transferring all rounded shapes and curves. This makes the curved ruler the ideal companion for the dressmaker's ruler from Prym.
Iron-on pattern pen/pencil
The iron-on transfer pen from Prym is a good choice for transferring embroidery patterns onto fabrics. First of all, use the violet felt-tip cartridge to transfer the embroidery pattern onto transparent paper. To ensure that the motif is displayed the correct way round, the motif is once more clearly traced on the reverse of the transparent paper with the iron-on pattern pen. Now you can iron the embroidery pattern onto the fabric. You must without fail embroider over the transferred lines, since the markings do not wash out. This transfer pen from Prym is ideal for all natural fibre, as well as for synthetic fabrics, blended fabrics and silk. For ironing on the prepared pattern the iron should be set to the ironing temperature for the fabric you are using. Important: Never draw directly onto the fabric.
Sewing and knitting measuring tape, cm/inch
The small, practical, multi-functional hand gauge from Prym simplifies many measuring and marking tasks, which can be done directly on the sewing machine or on knitting or crochet . The red plastic spacers allow you to pre-determine the dimension of a seam and distances between button-holes and to transfer them effortlessly. A hole in the upper corner of the ruler makes it possible to secure the measurement and to use it like a pair of compasses to trace circles and curves.
