- 1 to 3 sturdy fabrics, e.g. cotton woven fabric, corduroy or similar
- Wadding material
- Sewing machine and sewing accessories

- optional: Label "handmade", leather natural, oval
Introduction
Today, Nastja from DIY Eule shows us how to easily sew a reading bone. A free sewing pattern is included. This project is quite simple and can be completed quickly. A reading bone is really practical: you can lean your book against it when you like to read lying on your stomach, or you can use it as a neck pillow when reading in other positions. A reading bone also makes a great gift and is suitable for any gender and age. For the fabrics, a subtle combination was chosen here: cotton woven fabric and a petrol-colored corduroy. You can combine up to three fabrics and choose anything you like, from child-friendly prints to bold patterns or simple, minimalist designs. The only important thing is that the fabrics are non-stretch woven fabrics, not elastic ones. The bone actually has just 3 seams plus a turning opening.
