This means that you will never again have to search around to find the right colour of bobbin for the thread. This has the added advantage for all hand crafts, such as embroidery, that you can change the colour significantly faster. This is how it's done: the lower thread bobbin is placed on the bobbin holder and simply clamped into the thread spool of the matching colour.
