Materials

Step 1: Main Bow Piece

Cut:

2 pieces, each 35 cm × 16 cm

Sew:

  • Place right sides together and sew around, leaving an opening for turning.
  • Turn inside out.
  • Lightly stuff with filling – not too firm, and leave the center unfilled so the bow can be shaped nicely.
  • Close the opening.

Step 2: Steg (Mittelband)

Cut:

1 piece, 14 cm × 12 cm

Sew:

  • Sew right sides together, leaving an opening for turning.
  • Turn and topstitch around the edges.
  • Wrap around the center of the bow so the short edges overlap slightly at the back.
  • Hand stitch to secure.

Step 3: Tails

Cut:

  • 2 pieces, each 70 cm × 9 cm
  • Cut the narrow ends at mirrored 45° angles.

Sew:

  • Sew right sides together, leave an opening, and turn.
  • Close the turning opening.
  • Pull both tails through the center band from the back and arrange them neatly.
