Beginning
- Make a slip knot, insert it from the back through the hair elastic, and place it on the hook. Chain 1.
- Round around the elastic: Work single crochet stitches around the hair tie, pushing them close together as you go.
- Add a twist: Slide the top of the stitches around the elastic to create a slight twist in the row. Close with a slip stitch into the first single crochet.
Round 1
Chain 3. Crochet 3 double crochets into each stitch. Change colors as desired. Close with a slip stitch into the top of the chain-3.
Round 2 & 3
Chain 3, then 1 double crochet in each stitch. Close the round with a slip stitch. Add more rounds if you want a larger fidget.
Round 4
Chain 3, then 2 double crochets in each stitch. Close the round with a slip stitch. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
