The Yoga cable-stitch needle bends flexibly in any direction this means that you can knit much more than cables. Bends to suit your needs: As a hook, a U-shape, a wave or loop, it marks stitches, stays in place and sometimes leaps into action as a stitch holder. When not in use it can by placed comfortably around the wrist and is always to hand. The stitches speed along its bright, tempered surface with the hook tips, before they come to rest in the blue section with the unmistakable grip effect.

What you need: 

1. 100% pure new wool in jade green (100 g) Needle size 4-5; run length 100 m / 50 g

2. prym.ergonomics circular knitting needle, 60 cm, 4.50 mm 

3. Yoga cable-stitch needle 4.0

4. Embroidery needles without point, No. 18, 1.20 x 50 mm, silver eye

5. Plastic headed pins, 0.65 x 32 mm, neon 

6. Craft scissors Professional 13 cm

10 cm x 10 cm = 19 sts x 34 rows

Basic pattern 1: stocking stitch
Right-side row: knit stitches
Wrong-side row: purl stitches

Basic pattern 2: moss stitch
Right-side row: : k1, p1 alternately
Wrong-side row: : p1, k1 alternately

Basic pattern 3: braided cable
over 9 stitches (right-side row: knit, wrong-side row: purl) and 8 rows.

What you need to do:

1st row: Place the first 3 stitches on the Yoga cable-stitch needle and leave at the front of the work.

Now knit the stitches from the Yoga cable-stitch needle.
Knit the 6th - 8th rows as they appear.
Repeat rows 1 to 8 several times for the braided cable.

Back:

Cast on 43 sts. (41 sts. + 2 edge stitches)

1. For the double cuff knit 5 rows in stocking stitch;
for the fold line knit one wrong-side row
and then continue in stocking stitch for a further 6 rows.

2. From the end of the cuff knit 10 cm in basic pattern 2.

3. For the armholes decrease 1 stitch at both ends of every second row. Repeat once (39 stitches).

4. Knit 6 cm in basic pattern 2.

5. Knit 2 cm in stocking stitch.

6. For the shoulder seam first decrease 4 stitches at each end of the row (31 stitches) and then decrease 1 stitch at both ends of the next row (29 stitches).

7. Finally knit 2 cm in stocking stitch, then cast off all stitches loosely.

Front:

Work the front as for the back, distributing the stitches for the cable pattern after the cuff as follows:
17 stitches basic pattern 2, 9 stitches basic pattern 3, 17 stitches basic pattern 2.

Sleeve:

Cast on 27 sts. (25 sts. + 2 edge stitches)

1. For the double cuff knit 5 rows in stocking stitch; for the fold line knit one wrong-side row and then continue in stocking stitch for a further 6 rows.

2. Continue working in basic pattern 2, increasing 1 stitch at each end of the 5th and 10th rows for the sleeve shaping (31 stitches).

3. Knit 9 cm from the cuff and then decrease 2 sts from each end of the next 4 rows (27 stitches), then cast off all stitches loosely.

Fertigstellung:

Alle Teile spannen, anfeuchten und trocknen lassen. Ärmel-, Seiten- und Schulternähte schließen. Beachte: Die Schulternaht beträgt jeweils 2,5 cm. Dann die Ärmel einnähen und die Fäden vernähen.

Finishing:

Tension all the pieces, moisten them and let them dry.
Close the sleeve, side and shoulder seams. Note: Each shoulder seam measures 2.5 cm. Then sew in the sleeves and neaten the loose ends.
