10 ideas: Sewing with fabric leftovers for baby and children
What can you make from fabric leftovers? Nastja of DIY Eule shows you 10 ideas, what you can sew from fabric scraps for babies and children. There are projects for cotton woven, jersey, sweat, muslin, and more.
Especially for children and babies there are many sewing projects where you need very little fabric. However, always pay attention to the safety of your projects: small parts must not be able to come loose, it is best to do without them altogether. Also, don't use cords or elastics, as they can strangle the child.
The great thing about these projects is that you can let your imagination run wild and use your fabric scraps or even old clothes optimally and sustainably. Whether it's a little cap, small cuddly toy, pennant chain, grabber or gloves. Everything is possible. For some projects, fabric remnants of particularly fluffy, tactile or colorful fabrics are also well suited.
